Why this isn't a £7 t-shirt
We print on the Gildan Softstyle 64000: 100% ring-spun cotton, spun to 30 singles and knitted at 4.5 oz per square yard. Ring-spun means the fibres are twisted smooth before they are knitted, so the cloth comes out denser and finer than the carded, open-end cotton the cheap event tees are made of — the ones that feel thin and papery, go baggy at the neck and pill after a few washes. It is side seamed, so it holds its shape instead of twisting round your body, and the label tears away.
Hoodies are the Gildan 18500 Heavy Blend, 8 oz with a brushed fleece back — a proper weight, not a summer-weight hood.
We could buy blanks for half the money. We don't, because the design is only as good as the shirt it is printed on, and a bad blank makes good artwork look cheap. That, plus printing one at a time instead of a pallet at a time, is the whole of the price. More on what we print on.
How this gets made
Nothing is printed until somebody buys it. Yours goes to the printer the day you order, comes off a press with the design at full size, and ships straight to you. No boxes of unsold shirts, no landfill.
